If a death occurs as a result of the fault of another, the court may require the payment of money. For example, if defective equipment causes an injury resulting in death, the person or entity causing the death may be liable. If a defective product causes a death, the person or entity causing the death may be liable.
When a dangerous product, causes death the victim's family may be entitled to compensation. If, for example, a product fails to provide the necessary warnings, a law suit may be appropriate.
